Cleanser

My eyes hurt after so much bling and whatnot and I was feeling down after some fails so I just kept it fairly simple with some black tips.
I layered a coat of Sea and be Seen by Sally Hansen over two coats of Shower Together by China Glaze.
The I finished it off with some tips using Liquid Leather by China Glaze. Topped it off with a coat of Seche Vite and called it good. Kept it kind of simple.

Color Club Red-Ical Gypsy

I am back! Miss me? Lol I apologize for being gone so long I had a lot of nail fails and got busy with Thanksgiving and family. I secretly hate the Holidays they are soooo stressful. Any who on to nails!
Today I have for you Red-ical Gypsy by Color Club. It's a dark red jelly it's so pretty!

I had a little trouble with the application it really didn't want to work with me. I used two coats but I could of done three. It's also without Top Coat. It is really shiny on it's own.
I am also working on getting my collection page up and running. Just a few more things and it shall be up :)

Zoya Crystal - Pic Heavy

Halloween night I was sitting up at work bored out of my mind so I got on my phone and looked at my Facebook and I saw Zoya was having a Halloween Treat sale. Two free bottles of Zoya! I was all over it! I hoped my phone would pull up the website and would let me order it before the sale closed and lo and behold it did!! I got them Saturday and had to put one on! I choose Crystal and she didn't disappoint. It was hard for me to capture her beauty on camera, she is one of those you have to see in person but here she is.

I am not even going to break up the pictures with words. I don't know where to begin to describe her. She is  a metallic powder blue but yet bright at the same time. She has gold glassflecks? Gold shimmer? Is she a foil with gold shimmer instead of sliver? This is two coats and they went on like a dream! She is just amazing, kind of reminds me of the girl I am crushing on just mind blowing amazing!!
Until Next Time.

Winter Nails

It doesn't get that cold here in Oklahoma but the other night it was cold. It kind of made me crave winter so I came in and looked through my stash wondering how to translate winter to my nails my eyes wondered across two wonderful cool colors and my head was screaming "Yes!"
I pulled out Blue Year's Eve by China Glaze and Color Club Sugarplum Fairy. I used Blue Year's eve as the base and Sugarplum Fairy on the tips. That seemed too blah so I decided I was going to try my hand at a drag marble. It turned out decent I dragged too hard at some spots and it left bare nail in it's wake but over all I don't think it was too horrible.

With a fresh coat of Blue Year's Eve on I put a little bit of Sugarplum Fairy on the tips and took a toothpick and dragged it from my tips up to my cuticles. On my accent nail I covered half of my nail with Sugarplum Fairy and dragged across my nail.
This shot shows some of the detail better. This manicure was so amazing I want to do it again with different color combos. Hopefully my next one will turn out better.

Green Sponging - Fail

I had three Julep greens and I wanted to see what they looked like so what better way than a sponge? It looked so much better in my head but it just turned out as a big fat fail on my nails.
By it's self in the top photo. I started out with a base of white to help the colors pop and then started off with Diane at the base then worked into Emilie and then Selena. I think maybe if I did it differently it would of turned out better? I don't know. I had to figure out how to make this manicure bearable and I thought about Sally Hansen Diamonds.
I put two kind of thick coats of Diamonds on top of it and it turned out a bit more bearable. When the light hit it all I could see was the shine and shimmer of diamonds. I think I am going to be using this polish a lot. Maybe I should go buy a back up while I can still get it on sale. I ended up taking it off the second I got home the next day. It was just wrong.
My next manicure was a total win though!! I don't even know if I can wait to post it after this one. Lol.

Color Club Funky French

I was kind of feeling blah and kind of wanted something simple and kind of toned down. So I decided on a nude and that was a little too blah so I added some purple tips.
Both of these are from the Back to Boho collection from Color Club. I used Nomadic in Nude as my base. It's a good safe color, but I don't like to play it safe. Too boring. The tips and accent nail are Rad Nomad. There were still a little too blah so I added a coat of Snow Globe from China Glaze.
Snow Globe is from the new Holiday collection. I knew the second I saw swatches of it I had to have it. I happened to go by Sally's one day and they had it! I snatched it right up! It's so pretty! It's pastel glitter. If that makes any sense.
It was so pretty I had to give it two pictures. I can't wait to try this over other polishes!

Finger Paints Groovy Green

I hadn't wore green in a while so I thought I would wear a green. I will be the first to say green is not my cup of tea. The color it's self isn't appealing to me. It's just kind of dull to me. That being said here is a picture of Finger Paints Groovy Green from the Peace Love and Color collection this summer.
This is not groovy at all. The polish was a little on the thick side and streaky even after it dried and I added my topcoat. I would describe it as a light green shimmer bordering on metallic. The color is decent but I don't think I will do it again on it's own. Maybe as an accent color or a tip. It's just too much for me.

Guest Post

I did my best friends nails a while back ago and I am going to have to do mine like these SOON. Sorry about the lack of clean up her nails are a pain to work with. She told me that her fingers look like toes in this picture. :)
For this look I used China Glaze White on White. The sponging is all Orly from the Happy Go Lucky Collection. I started off with Frisky at the cuticle then Frolic and Flirty at the tips. She loves sparkles so I used a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust. (It's not visible in my pictures but it's there) I think sponging is one of my favorite techniques.

Sparkley Awesomeness!

I was going to go see my best friends and I had to have nails that were AMAZING so after many hours of going insane trying to figure out what I wanted to do and many more hours trying to figure out what color scheme to do I still had to narrow my choice down to three colors. And this is what I came up with. Might I say I was so happy with the way they turned out. :)

 I love this look!

I used Confetti Black Tie as the base for all of my fingers then I sponged on Milani HD near my cuticles the China Glaze Cheers to You. (This is my favorite silver foil) On the tips I sponged Milani Silver Dazzle from their One Coat Glitter line. On my accent nail I sponged on a little bit of white under the skully to make her pop out more. The Skull and Star are from the Kiss Halloween Nail Decals.
My mom loved this look so much she had me do something similar to it on hers. In fact I think the only difference was her accent nail, it was just a glow in the dark :) I didn't get any pictures of it though :(

China Glaze Funky French

I went on a binge of funky french tips. I did like four or five of them in a row which is unheard of for me. This is one of them.
For this I used a base of China Glaze Black Diamond and for the tips I used China Glaze 108 Degrees. I didn't care much for this one. It didn't turn out like I wanted it to. I thought the pink would be more in your face than it was. I am all about the in your face factor. :)
